Retain Agreement Verizon

Verizon wireless contracts automatically switch to a monthly contract and generally do not change the price unless the discount on line access fees is removed from the bill if this was included in the terms of the agreement. I`ve always thought that keeping existing customers is cheaper than attracting new ones. It must be a really interesting business model. I am satisfied with the service and I am looking for a 2 year contract. Triple game prices offered on the site with $150/$150 are $79.99, but are not available to existing customers. I understand this situation to attract new customers, but I was expecting at least an attempt to keep a loyal customer that allows me to continue paying the same or the possibility of changing my service, none of this happened. I still have two days for my 2-year contract. I can now extend and keep essentially all the existing services, since they are for about 10 $US less than what I pay now. Does it have an advantage to wait for the agreement to expire? Will Verizon instead offer a steeper discount if I`m a free agent and out of contract? Thoughts/experiences here? Thank you! I`ve been with Verizon for over 15 years. They called and complained that their upgrade offers are never as good as what they are offering to new customers especially on the iPhone 11 next Black Friday. I think they should make the same offer to existing customers who have had continuous service for over 10 years. I have a 5s and I want the new iPhones for my wife and me.

I haven`t upgraded in many years. I`ve tried working with Verizon, but they`re not willing to offer the same offer to keep existing customers. Somehow, you tell how they think existing customers are acquired, but roll out the red carpet for new customers or lines. From that perspective, I will most likely move to a new carrier this year. I really don`t want to change, but we need new phones, because our old problems. I can make a BOGO with another carrier. Why can`t they offer existing customers 700 installment credits or Visa gift cards like other retailers as customer loyalty instead of BOGO to use on any phone in exchange for a new blocking contract. This would go a long way in showing you that you really appreciate existing customers.
